James J. Talbot, age 51, of Attleboro, formerly of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Monday, September 14, 2026. Born in Attleboro, MA on August 5, 1975, he was a loving son of the late James T. and Maria I. (Brodeur) Talbot. Jim grew up in his hometown of Mansfield, where he was a graduate of Mansfield High School. He continued his studies, graduating with an Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design from Massasoit Community College in Brockton. A resident of Attleboro for over ten years, Jim had previously been employed as a graphic designer for General Dynamics, a job he truly enjoyed. His favorite times spent were those amongst family and friends. He liked to relax while playing videos, watching television shows, and movies. His favorite shows included Dr Who, Star Wars and Tron. Jim was also a motorcycle enthusiast and passionate NASCAR fan. He is survived by his devoted children, Kasey L. Talbot of Seekonk and David Caporrella of Coventry, Rhode Island. He was the beloved longtime companion of Patricia Babcock, with whom he made his home in Attleboro. He was brother of Jennifer Lovely and her husband Bryan of Taunton. He is also survived by his dog “Su Lee” who he adored and loved dearly. A service in celebration of his life will be held at a later date at a place and time to be announced. Visiting hours are omitted and burial will be private. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.
