Glenda Sue Law Pearman, 75, of Chula passed away Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Pearman at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Chula, where she will be laid to rest. Dr. Karen Carr will officiate. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.
Mrs. Pearman was born on October 4, 1950, in Atkinson County to Lurene Stevens Law Schultze of Chula and the late Leamon Law. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Dwight Law. She was a loving homemaker and an ordained minister. As an ordained minister, she traveled on many Mission Trips, spreading the Word of God. She was a beloved friend and Prayer Warrior to all those she came in contact with. She also enjoyed travelling the country with her husband and cruising with her family. She and her husband were members of the Southern Gearhead Car Club.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Pearman is survived by her husband, Elton Pearman of Chula; one son and daughter-in-law, Steffen and Heather Pearman of Tifton; one daughter and son-in-law, Christa Lynn and Clay Pate of Tifton; and a bonus daughter and her husband, Kimberly and Robbie Copeland. She was Grandma and Mamaw to her grandchildren, Abigail, Mason, Omie and Lettie. She was lovingly called Big Mama by Seth, Aaron, Matthew and Colton.
