Paulette Pelletier, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on August 4, 2026 at home. She was the loving daughter of the late Pierre and Pauline Pelletier. She was a lifelong Westport resident. Paulette is survived by her brother Raymond Pelletier and his wife Pamela, Sister-in-law Syndee Pelletier, Nephews Christopher Pelletier and Joshua Pelletier and a Niece Melissa Pelletier. She is also survived by several great nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Peter Pelletier.
Paulette had many special friends and coworkers who adopted her as their own family. She always took the time to offer a ride, care for a loved one, and check up on those around her.
She never let an opportunity to help others go by. She faithfully showed up for the people she loved and cared about.
She was most recently employed in the healthcare field and always enjoyed taking care of others, especially the many children she spent time babysitting and mentoring over the years even as they aged. She was affectionately known as "Auntie" and always remained present in their lives by attending school events, sporting events, birthdays, graduations and weddings.
Paulette enjoyed spending time with friends going to the theater, concerts, out to eat, and she recently had fun volunteering as a tour guide for the Westport Historical Society. She was a woman of faith and had a genuine heart. She will be remembered as kind, humble, generous and someone who never passed judgment on others. She always said a kind word and looked for the best in everyone. Her favorite saying was "Have a GREAT day!" She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date and burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers please consider donating to The American Heart Association, The American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, an animal rescue league or a charity of your choice, as she was always looking to give onto others.
