Carol A. (Fecteau) Medeiros, 82, of Westport, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at home. She was the wife of Raymond Medeiros, they shared 64 years of marriage.
Mrs. Medeiros was born in Dorchester, daughter of the late Anna Fecteau and had resided in Westport since 1966. Prior to retirement, she worked as a line worker for the former Lightolier, Fall River. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport. She enjoyed the beach and was an avid reader. Most of all, Mrs. Medeiros loved her family and her greatest joy was spending time with them.
Survivors along with her husband include her 3 children: Michael Medeiros and his companion Lenna Dwyer of Swansea, David Medeiros of Swansea and Sheri Torres and her husband Scott of Dartmouth; 4 grandchildren: Ashley Arruda, Abigail Medeiros, Hannah Torres and Cody Torres; and a great grandchild: Theodore Arruda.
She was the grandmother of the late Cory Medeiros.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Thursday, September 10, 2026 at Potter Funeral Home at 4:00 P.M.
Memorial visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 P.M. prior to the service.
Interment is private.
