Obituary

CORNISH- Morrill “Bobo” Edward Cobb, age 76 passed away September 4th, 2026 at home with family by his side after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Bobo was born in Portland, ME to Robert and Phyllis Perkins Cobb on December 15, 1949.
Bobo met Marie Fenderson at Wildwood in Steep Falls shortly after his graduation from Bonney Eagle in 1967. They married on July 13, 1968 and started their family moving to Massachusetts. In Massachusetts he worked at Contemporary Interiors delivering furniture.
In 1978 Bobo and his family settled in Cornish, Maine and he worked many years at Kimball Supply in Hiram. Bobo was a member of organizations such as the Oddfellows in Limerick, Ossipee Valley Horseshoe Club, and the Ossipee Valley Fair. He often could be found at the Ossipee Valley Fairgrounds chasing water leaks. He ran the annual Fair Horseshoe Tournament and maintained the pits. Bobo and Marie traveled with dear friends to participate in the World Horseshoe Tournaments held in various locations in the US and Canada.
Bobo played cards and pool with his friends, enjoying the rivalry. He enjoyed hosting family and friend events. He was often found videoing events and had fun recording interviews of the youngest children.

Predeceased by parents, Sister Brenda and husband Steve Dow, brother in law, James Fenderson Sr. and nephews, Russell and Zachary Fenderson and Ryan Smith.

Survived by wife Marie, Daughter - Michelle and Robert Hunter of Sanford; Tracy and Tim Neilson of Hiram
Grandaughters: Kelsey Doliber and daughter Josey Thornton of Old Town
Kara and Aaron Gauthier, sons Chase and Orion of Milbridge
Amanda Hunter and Luke Moreau and daughter Zoe Moreau of Phippsburg
Hannah Neilson and her fiance Kim Moulton of Sanford
Elisha Neilson of Australia
Brother Wayne and wife, Cheryl Cobb of Limington.
Marie’s Brothers and many nieces and nephews as well.

Celebration of life will be held on Sept. 19, 2026 from 1 to 4 PM at Hiram Community Center at 14 Historical Ridge In Hiram, ME 04041
Private Burial at a later date.
