Jeffrey M. McIntyre, age 52, of Thompson, CT, formerly of Norton, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 31, 2026.

Born in Milford, MA on April 5, 1974, he was a loving son of Paul M. and Janet M. (Marsh) McIntyre of Norton.

Jeff grew up in his hometown of Norton and was a 1993 graduate of Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School. He had been employed as a skilled forklift operator and had previously worked along side his father in the operation of Paul M. McIntyre & Son Landscaping in Norton.

Jeff had made his home in Thompson for the past eight years. He loved spending quality time with his adoring family and close friends. Jeff enjoyed watching sports and when younger had a passion for playing hockey. He will always be remembered for his love of music, his exceptional cooking skills and perfection for smoking meats.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his devoted son, Ian M. McIntyre of Thompson. He was the dear brother of Kim Mazzei and her husband Robert of Gig Harbor, Washington, Michelle Bramwell of Norton, Joanne McIntyre and her partner Donny Myers of Norfolk and Jean Booth and her husband Thomas of Plymouth. He was the cherished uncle of Kasey Ferguson and her husband Nick of Norton, Allyson Hochstettler and her husband Tylar of Bourne, Nicholas McCasland of Framingham, Meghan Bratton of Boston, Thomas Booth of Plymouth, Hayden Booth of Plymouth and Michael Pembroke of Douglas. He was the former husband of Michelle (Pembroke) McIntyre of Thompson. He is also survived by his loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, September 8th from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 Noon at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton.

Family reflections will be held at the conclusion of visitation on Tuesday, September 8th at 12:00 Noon at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Newland Cemetery in Norton.
