Elenor (Rego) Cabral, 91, of Westport, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph L. Cabral.
Mrs. Cabral was born in Fall River, daughter of the late John C. and Mary (Vieira) Rego, and had been a longtime resident of Westport. Prior to her retirement, she worked as secretary and treasurer for Driftway Excavating, Inc., a company she co-owned with her late husband. She was an avid tennis player and a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church in Westport. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her two brothers: John C. Rego of Arkansas and Antone C. Rego of Florida, along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She was also the sister of the late Joseph C. Rego.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026, at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport, at 11:00 A.M.
Memorial visitation will be held Friday morning prior to the Mass, from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M., at Potter Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
