WEBSTER – Irena (Baldowski) Bagrowski, 75, died Sunday, June 28, 2026 at home after being stricken ill.
She leaves a son, Leonard M. Bagrowski of Webster; a daughter, Kerri A. Bushman of Dudley; 2 grandsons, Tyler Bushman of Dudley and Aaron Bagrowski of Spencer; a brother, George T. Baldowski and his wife Helena of Webster; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Walter J. Baldowski in 2016.
She was born on July 5, 1950 in Elblag, Poland, a daughter of Jozef and Anna (Pokuc) Baldowski and was raised there. In 1965 she took up residence in Worcester and then moved to Dudley in 1978. She lived at the Sitkowski apartments in Webster since 2021. She graduated from North High School in Worcester and completed courses at Nichols College in Dudley.
Mrs. Bagrowski worked at Commerce insurance Company and then was employed in the administrative department of the Webster Five Cents Savings Bank. She was a secretary in the probation office of the Dudley courthouse before retiring in 2016.
She was an active member of Saint Andrew Bobola Church in Dudley for many years and was the first lector at the Polish masses there. In Webster, she belonged to Saint Joseph Basilica and was a member of its Holy Rosary Sodality.
Her funeral will be held Friday, August 28, at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street (please meet at the church). Burial will be in the family plot in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street, is directing arrangements.
