NORTH WATERBORO- Waterboro - David Michael Congdon passed away on August 20, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. David was born on May 17, 1951, in Cuba, New York. He was the son of Dean and Elaine Congdon. David graduated from Cuba Central High School in 1969. David went on to graduate from Brockport State College in 1973 with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. For many years Dave was a store manager for F.W. Woolworth. Dave later went on to start a successful construction company called Dean Construction. Dave was a talented musician who had his own rock band in high school. In college Dave was a member of a jazz group. Dave was also a gifted self taught painter who enjoyed reading in his spare time.
David is predeceased by his brother Steve who passed away in 2025; his father Dean who passed away in 2014 and his mother Elaine who passed away in 2021. David is survived by his wife Nancy (Ahern), his sisters: Jo Ann, Marcie, Susan, Cathy, and his brother Tom and his cousin Tim Colligan who was like a brother to him. David also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews. Private funeral arrangements are being handled Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service in East Waterboro, Maine.
