Brian D. Mason, age 73, passed away on August 19, 2026 at Vantage of Hampden Nursing Home. He was born on July 31, 1953 in Holyoke, son of the late Laverne D. Mason Jr and Thelma G. (Berger) Dockum. Brian worked as an IT Professional at A.G Spaulding Company for many years. He also worked at Wang Computer and Gerber Life before his retirement. He is survived by his daughter, Briana Sabola and her husband Jonathan of Chicopee; one brother, Scott F. Mason and his wife Donna of Chicopee and two sisters, Lynn Lavigne and her husband Gary of Chicopee and Cynthia A. Chamberlain of Chicopee along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. He is predeceased by his brother Lance L. Mason. A Celebration of life will take place at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee on Sat., Aug. 29, 2026 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM.
