Hector M. Calzada, 66, of Zacatecas, Mexico, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 10, 2026.

Hector was a loving brother to Olivia, Elvira, Consuelo, Nora, and the late Arturo and Enrique. He was a cherished uncle to Sandy, Yecenia, and his many nieces and nephews, who will forever hold dear the memories they shared with him.

Hector will be remembered for the love he gave to his family and for the special place he held in the hearts of those who knew him. His memory will live on through the family and loved ones he leaves behind.

Hector is now reunited with his beloved parents, Miguel and Gregoria, and his brothers, Arturo and Enrique. Though he will be deeply missed, the love and memories he gave to his family will remain in their hearts forever.

May he rest peacefully and may his memory always be a blessing to those who loved him.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 27, 2026 3:00pm-7:00pm at Ocwieja-Robles Funeral Home, 4256 S Mozart.
Additional parking available at Five Holy Martyrs, 4327 S Richmond.

Funeral Mass will be Friday, August 28, 2026 at 10:30am St Johns Parish, 4555 S Kedzie Ave.
Following mass we will proceed to Mount Auburn Cemetery,4101 Oak Park Ave Stickney, IL 60402.




Héctor M. Calzada, de 66 años, originario de Zacatecas, México, falleció en paz el lunes 10 de agosto de 2026.

Héctor fue un hermano amoroso para Olivia, Elvira, Consuelo, Nora y sus hermanos Arturo y Enrique, quienes le precedieron en el fallecimiento. Fue también un querido tío para Sandy, Yecenia y sus muchos sobrinos y sobrinas, quienes siempre guardarán con cariño los recuerdos que compartieron con él.

Héctor será recordado por el amor que brindó a su familia y por el lugar tan especial que ocupó en el corazón de quienes tuvieron la dicha de conocerlo. Su recuerdo vivirá por siempre en su familia y en todos sus seres queridos.

Ahora Héctor se ha reunido con sus queridos padres, Miguel y Gregoria, y con sus hermanos Arturo y Enrique. Aunque su partida dejará un profundo vacío, el amor que dio y los hermosos recuerdos que dejó permanecerán para siempre en el corazón de quienes lo amaron.

Que descanse en paz y que su memoria sea siempre una bendición para todos los que lo amaron.
