Helen B. (Boris) Kiritsy, 95, of Worcester, died Thursday, August 20th at home surrounded by her loving family. Her husband of almost 63 years, Theodore J. Kiritsy died in 2018. She is survived by her two sons, Peter V. Kiritsy and his wife Wendy (deceased 2019) of Woonsocket, RI, formerly of Grafton, MA, and Christopher A. Kiritsy and his wife, Meridith of Worcester; three daughters, Kathleen H. Graceffa of North Eastham, MA. Cynthia U. Ambrosino and her husband, Vincent of Shrewsbury and Laura A. Kiritisy and her wife, Catherine M. Paden of Sutton, NH; ten grandchildren: Tabitha, Betty, Kayla, Theodore, Isabelle, Liv, Grace, Abby, Dominic and Victor.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Peter and Ursula (Alexandrovich) Boris and worked as a registered nurse at St. Vincent Hospital and later as an associate for TJMaxx before retiring in 2013. Helen was an avid reader and enjoyed Books on Tape. She was an accomplished knitter and loved the Boston Celtics and the Boston Red Sox. She and her husband enjoyed frequent trips to Foxwoods Casino. Her greatest joy was spending time around the family pool, especially with her grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
