Wayne P. Garriepy, 81

Wayne P. Garriepy, age 81, of North Attleboro, formerly of Attleboro and Mansfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at the Summit Commons Rehabilitation & Health Care in Providence.
Born in Brockton, MA on January 7, 1945, he was a loving son of the late Edward C., Sr. and Alice M. (Smith) Garriepy.
Wayne grew up in Mansfield, was a graduate of Mansfield High School and attended the Vesper George School of Art. During the time of the Vietnam War, he proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy. He was honorably discharged from duty on March 5, 1965 with the rank of Fireman Apprentice.
A Videographer and Digital Creator, Mr. Garriepy was the former proud owner and operator of Images DV. Wayne had a lifelong passion for technology, which included flying drones, a hobby he was quite knowledgeable on, riding his E-Bike and creating family videos.
Wayne was always happiest when spending time amongst family and friends. He was a former communicant of Saint John the Evangelist Church in Attleboro, enjoyed traveling, taking road trips and loved listening to music. Wayne had a natural gift for gab and could strike up a conversation with just about anyone he met.
He is survived by his devoted children, Brent Garriepy and his wife Erin of California, Nikki Garriepy of Florida, Meagan Robinson and her husband Chris of Ohio and Patrick Garriepy and his wife Liana of Attleboro. He was the cherished grandfather of Lacey, Evan, Logan, Noelle and Harper. He was the dear brother of the late Edward C. Garriepy, Jr, Geraldine Douglas and is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, September 5th from 12:00-2:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.
A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of visitation on Saturday at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial, along with military honors, will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Mansfield.
