Melissa Burnell 48 of Brownfield, Me passed away Aug 11,2026 at Maine Medical Center, from a Broken Heart, with family by her side
Melissa was born March 26,1978 to Eugene and Helen Burnell of Brownfield.
She lived most of her life in Brownfield, and was born on Easter where she was given the nick-name Pete.
She lost her Mom when she was 8, Her Dad and Sister took great care of her. she moved back with her dad and took great care of him, until the day he passed on Nov/07/2025. That was when her heart totally broke.
Melissa was a beautiful person with a big heart, that we were very proud of everyday. She said she was Beautifully Broken. She worked as a retailer for many years, Until she married.
She was predeceased by her Dad Eugene, her Mom Helen, and her Husband Raul.
She is survived by her Sister April and Brother Randy, Nieces, Nephew and many cousins, plus her BIL Ernie and SIL Diane.
Melissa will be missed by all her family, and all who new her.
A graveside service will be in the fall. We will post online when it will be. It will be held at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Brownfield, Me.
