Luz Esther Rosario, lovingly known to many as “Lucy,” was born on September 6, 1969 in Bronx New York. She was born to Migdalia Rosario and the late Abraham Rosario.
Lucy was a bold, loving, outspoken woman who never hesitated to speak her mind and never thought twice about helping someone in need. Her heart was kind, generous, and her personality unforgettable ! Her love for her children and grandchildren ran deep.
Throughout her life, Lucy faced many trials and tribulations, but through every hardship she persevered and she continued to find reasons to love, laugh, and keep moving forward. She was truly a strong warrior .
After all she had endured, she found a beautiful sense of happiness, companionship and peace with her longtime fiancé, best friend, and the love of her life Angel Medina. For more than 25 years, they shared a bond built on love, friendship, loyalty, and overcoming countless obstacles together.
Lucy was not someone you simply met and forgot. Her voice, her laughter, her honesty, and her unmistakable personality will remain in the hearts of those who loved her forever.
Lucy is survived by her mother Migdalia Rosario and was the light of her mother’s eyes. Lucy is also survived by her four children Marco Antonio Cobar Jr , Bianca Natalie Cobar, Hector Raphael Ortiz Jr, Tatiana Isaly Rivas Barron. She will also be terribly missed by her grandchildren Mia Cobar, Yamil Williams Jr, Breanna Marcotte, Cassidy Marcotte, Damian Cobar, Elias Claudio, and Lenox Claudio. She also leaves behind her six siblings David Rosario, Julio Figueroa , Gina Gonzalez- Peña, Katiria Martinez , Jannette Martinez, Christian Perez and many nieces , nephews and extended family .
Luz finally found peace reuniting with her father Abraham Rosario whom she yearned for almost 40 years and look forward to reuniting with one day.

Following Cremation, a Celebration of Luz’s Life will be a held at a later date.
