AUBURN - Jean C. (Lemanski) Lorusso, 83, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026.
Jean was born October 2, 1942, in Worcester, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Joseph and Corrine (Giusto) Lemanski. Loving wife to the late Ralph Lorusso who passed on August 29, 2015.
Jean was a graduate of Commerce High School; attended Worcester Junior College and Victor Business School; and enjoyed a varied career. Jean was a voracious reader with a love for writing, poetry, fine arts, opera, and music. She enjoyed games of chance and memorable trips to Las Vegas and Foxwoods. She was a member of the Worcester and Auburn Senior Centers and the Red Hat Society of Auburn.
Above all, Jean cherished her family and her many feline companions. She welcomed everyone into her heart and her family takes comfort in knowing that the Lord now welcomes her into his kingdom.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Casa de Ramana Rehab Center for their compassionate care.
Jean was predeceased by her brothers, Alfred and Bernard Lemanski.
She is survived by her stepchildren, Michael and Jack Lorusso, Mary Jo Grogan, and Elaine Amorello; she also leaves her nieces, her step grandchildren, her step great grandchildren as well as extended family and friends.
A graveside service will take place for Jean at St John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge St Worcester on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 11:30am. Final prayers will be made at her grave.
