Shannon M. Lemon, age 48, passed away on August 4, 2026 at Holyoke Hospital. She was born on April 18, 1978 in Springfield. Shannon was a graduate of South Hadley High School. She loved poetry and art and enjoyed listening to reggae music. She is survived by her mother, Susan M. (McKenna) Mead and her husband Scott Mead of South Hadley; one daughter, Elise Walcott and Elise’s father, Frank Walcott of Springfield; one sister, Cynthia Cruz and her husband Ivan of Belchertown; niece, Lauren Mann of South Hadley; nephews, Ethan and Kaden Czaporowski and L.J. Cruz of Belchertown; Aunt Judi (Baker) of PA; Uncle Ken and Aunt Joan (McKenna) of South Hadley, Uncle Russ and Aunt Helen (McKenna) of South Hadley and Aunt Maureen (McKenna) of South Hadley along with many friends who will miss her dearly. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
