Jean N. (LeBlanc) Phaneuf, 69, of New Bedford, peacefully passed away at home on Friday, August 7, 2026 with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Arthur H. Phaneuf, Sr., they shared 47 years of marriage.
Mrs. Phaneuf was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Normand and Bella LeBlanc and had been a lifelong resident of the city. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Survivors include her 3 children: Kennith Phaneuf, Sr. and his wife Lisa of New Bedford, Arthur H. Phaneuf, Jr. and his wife Laurie-Anne of New Bedford and Lisa Phaneuf of New Bedford; her twin brother: John LeBlanc and his wife Evelyn of New Bedford; 3 grandchildren: Kennith Phaneuf, Jr., Christopher Phanuef and Brittany Szela; 6 great grandchildren: Hunter, Oliver, Cooper, Zachary, Emma and Owen; along with nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Peter LeBlanc, Normand LeBlanc, Maryann LeBlanc, David Siler, Gordon Siler and Carl Siler.
Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at Acushnet Cemetery at 11:00 A.M.
