Gerald Simcoe, 54, of Westport, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at home. He was the husband of Candice (Fortier) Simcoe, they were together for 37 years.
Born in Fall River, he was son of the late Gerald A. and Hortense (Travis) Simcoe. He was a graduate of Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School in Fall River and later worked for 16 years at Titleist. Jerry was a member of the Patriot Guard Riders. He enjoyed playing the drums and loved his cats. He loved camping with his friends.
Including his wife, she is survived by his brother: David Simcoe of Westport; a sister: MaryLou Sylvia of SC; 2 aunts: Sister MaryLou Simcoe and Darlene Sampson; uncle: Donald Sampson; a nephew: Andrew Simcoe; 2 nieces: Amanda Therriault and Megan Gonzalez; mother-in-law: Suzanne Medeiros; and several lifelong friends: Peter Arruda, Alan Bouchard, Paul Olivera; Steve Rebello, Eddie Amaral, Al Medeiros, Louie Medeiros, Jason Francoeur and Marc Roussel.
A Celebration of Jerry's life will be announced at a later date.
