Darryl Hall, 65 of Clifton Park, New York, formally of Tifton, as well as West Palm Beach, Plantation and Hialeah, Florida, passed away peacefully, Wednesday July 29, 2026, at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York.
The family will receive family and friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the funeral service immediately following in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals in Tifton, Georgia. The Rev. Glenn Ford will officiate.
Dale Hall, Dalton Hall, Dylan Hall, Mike Ziegler, John Hall and Hayden Bretherton will serve as pallbearers. Following the service, Darryl will be taken to Harding Methodist Church Cemetery for a private burial.
Born December 27, 1960, in Hialeah, Florida to the late Julian Hall and Carolyn “Nadine” Simmons Hall Needle and Paul Needle. In addition to his parents, Darryl is also preceded in death by his brother Dale Hall. Before becoming disabled Darryl was a Superintendent for a construction company in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Darryl graduated from South Plantation High School. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching sports (the Miami Hurricanes were his favorite). He especially enjoyed the time he spent with his boys, fishing, boating or just making memories!
Darryl will be remembered as an easy-going, kind person who fought hard to live the past 20 years, following a heart aneurysm that burst. He was considered a walking miracle. Darryl rarely complained but made the best of the time given to him. He loved his sons, family and the special friends he has known since his school days, enjoying the time he spent with them all and the memories he made.
Darryl is survived by his sons, Dale Hall and Dalton Hall, both of West Coxsackie, New York and Dylan Hall (and their mother, Michelle) of Clifton Park, New York; as well as his sisters, Julie Hall Gibson of Jasper, Georgia and Teresa Hall English (David) of Tifton, Georgia; special cousin (who is like a sister), Cynthia Capp (Matt) of Marion, North Carolina; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and caring friends, (especially Rose Lageyre).
We would also like to recognize the Gizzi Family (Bob, Donna, Melanie & Reagan) of Ballston Lake, New York. They treated Darryl as family, visiting him during his many hospital stays, accompanying him to the hospital in New York City, but mainly including him in family gatherings, along with Robbie Mitchell, who was a faithful friend. Their kindness does not go unrecognized.
