Obituary

HOLLIS – Pearl Evonne (Brackett) Morse, age 78, passed away on July 27, 2026, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, ME. She was born in Westbrook on October 3, 1947, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Hazel (Moulton) Brackett. Pearl graduated from Bonny Eagle High School in 1965. She worked as a bookkeeper and account manager for over 40 years, at Standish Telephone, then Co-Hen Egg Company, Buxton Oil Company, Webber Energy Fuels, and Dead River Company. She enjoyed nature, the great outdoors and all animals, especially her horses and dogs. Pearl was predeceased by a sister, Phyllis, and two brothers, Albert and Edward. She is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years- Ralph Morse; her children- Mark Foss and Gloria (Foss) Pincoski and her husband Mark; six grandchildren- Philip Foss, Micquel Foss, Daniel Foss and his wife Nozomi, Joshua Pincoski and his wife Erika, Noah Pincoski and his husband Grant Guenther, Benjamin Pincoski and his wife Autumn Rose; four great grandchildren- Jaxson, Katie, Emma and Delilah; and several nieces and nephews.

A visiting hour and remembrance service will be held on Wednesday, August 19 at 10 am at the Poitras, Neal & York Funeral Home, 71 Maple St. (Route 25), Cornish, ME. Burial will follow at Stanley Cemetery in Hiram. Online condolence messages can be submitted at www.mainefuneral.com.
