Rosemarie T. (Spinale) Crowley, age 81, a resident of Tewksbury for 58 years, formerly of Medford, passed away at the Lowell General Hospital on Sunday, July 26, 2026.
She was the beloved wife of Gerald P. Crowley, with whom she would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on November 2, 2026.
Born in Winthrop on November 16, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Gaetano “Guy” Spinale and the late Domenica “Anna” (Spinale) Spinale.
Rosemarie was raised in Medford and graduated from Medford High School.
While raising her children, she worked for several years at Charles River Labs in Wilmington.
In addition to her husband, family members include her three children, Debra A. Hurley and her husband Daniel Brian of York, ME, Richard S. Crowley and his wife Karen, of Salem, NH and the late Joseph P. Crowley and his late wife Karen: her grandchildren, Allyson Crowley, Jacquie Giddinge and her husband Chris, Nicole Russell and her husband Robert, Kayla Coughlin and her husband Sean, Timothy Hurley and Justin Crowley: her great grandchildren, Nora and Roman Russell, Cameron and Dylan Giddinge, and McKenna, Kinsley and Shealeigh Coughlin: her sister, Josephine Mumper and her husband Roger: her brother, Anthony F. Spinale: also many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Calling hours are Monday, August 3, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury. Her funeral procession will begin on Tuesday, August 4, at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Williams Church, 1351 Main Street, Route 38, Tewksbury. Service will conclude with interment at St. Mary cemetery, 90 River Road, Tewksbury.
