Hollis Center - Diana Irene (Lund) Lambert 85, of Hollis Center, passed away peacefully July 24, 2026, surrounded by her family after an extended illness. Diana was born in Bellows Falls, Vermont, May 29, 1941, the daughter of Gladys Moses.
Diana graduated from Caanan High School in New Hampshire in 1959. She moved to Maine and worked at a horse stable in Old Orchard Beach, where she met the love of her life, Stephen Lambert. They married on September 18, 1965, and had two children, Katherine and Christopher. They were married for over 54 years.
Diana's career was in banking and accounting, working and living in Saco, Gray, Camden, and finally Hollis, where she lived with her family for over 50 years. After retirement, she would spend her days taking care of her son's German Shepherd, Jeb.
Diana was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Moses; husband Stephen Lambert; and her baby brother Allen.
Diana is survived by her children, Katherine Bogdahn and husband John, of Hollis Center, grandson Troy Bogdahn of Saco, granddaughter Taylor Bogdahn of Raleigh, NC, and son Christoper Lambert, Sr, of Hollis Center, and grandson Christopher Lambert, Jr. of Hollis Center. She is also survived by her sisters Dolly Wilcox of Gorham, Judy Stevens of Northwood, NH, and Eleanor Roberts and husband John of Waterboro; and brother-in-law Thomas Lambert and wife Alice, of Bangor.
The family would like to thank the staff at Gorham House, in Gorham, and Compassus Hospice Care, in Scarborough, for their extended care of Diana and her family.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 4:00-6:00pm at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) in Buxton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 1:00pm at Most Holy Trinity Church, 271 Main Street, Saco.
