Patricia T. (D’Agostino) O’Malia, age 81, of Taunton, formerly of Stoughton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at the Boston Medical Center-South in Brockton. She was the beloved wife of the late William J. O’Malia, who died on March 11, 2009.
Born in Dorchester, MA on January 2, 1945, she was a loving daughter of the late Joseph A. and Lillian (Downey) D’Agostino. Pat grew up in Randolph and was a 1962 graduate of Randolph High School. She had made her home in Taunton for the past twenty-nine years and previously resided in Stoughton. Prior to retiring, Pat had worked as an Administrative Assistant for Dunkin Donuts in Randolph for eight years and was formerly employed as an Administrative Assistant to the president of Peabody New England in Easton. Pat’s happiest times were those spent in the presence of her adoring family and grandchildren. She attended Saint Mary’s Church in Norton and along with her late husband Bill, enjoyed dancing and traveling. She is survived by her devoted children, Debora Connell-Duncan of Jefferson, Maine, Teresa Fruzzetti and her husband Michael of Halifax, David Connell, Jr. of Taunton, Christine Reks of Tucson, Arizona, Michele O’Malia of Simpsonville, South Carolina, and William O’Malia and his wife Rose of Fort Pierce, Florida and Brenda-Lee Lally and her husband Erik Ekwall of Bristol, Rhode Island. She was the dear sister of the late Marilyn Romano and the late Joan Reynolds. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, her great granddaughter, her loving niece and nephews, all whom she was so proud of and loved dearly. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, July 12th from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue). Norton. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 13th at 10:00 A.M. in Saint Mary’s Church, 1 Power Street, Norton. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:45 P.M.
