QUINN, Edward Robert Of Weymouth, passed away very peacefully on July 3, 2026. He was 81.
Predeceased by his wife, Ann Marie Quinn. Beloved father of Ed Quinn Jr. and his wife, Jamie, of Scituate; Karen Watson and her husband, Kevin, of Louisville, Kentucky; and Joanne Healey and her husband, Chris, of Hanover.
Devoted Papa/Paga to Abigail, Grace, Max, Quinn, Riley, Charlie, Sam, and Clara.
Born in Boston to the late Thomas and Hilda Quinn. Brother of Thomas Quinn Jr. and his wife, Barbara, of Braintree. He is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
Ed grew up in the St. Brendan's Parish neighborhood in Dorchester and attended Boston Latin School. He met his wife, Ann, at the age of 13. They were married at 22 and moved to Weymouth, where they raised their family.
He served in the Army Reserves before beginning his nearly 40-year career as a financial equities trader and later served as president of the Boston Securities Traders Association.
Nothing gave him more joy than spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was always the life of the party and will be missed by all who knew him.
A celebration honoring Ed's life will be held at a future date. Service details will be shared once they are finalized.
