Robert Charles “Bob” White, 89 of Derry, NH passed away suddenly on Thursday July 2, 2026, at Parkland Medical Center of Derry. Bob was born November15, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY a son of the late Francis and Agnes (Patterson) White. He was raised and educated in Brooklyn and was a resident there until relocating to Derry in 1969.
Bob served his country as a member of the US Navy, serving as a Radio Man from 1955 to 1959. Bob spent over 20 years as an Insurance Adjustor with the Hartford Insurance Company. After which he spent another 20 years with Walmart. He enjoyed home life and spending time with his family. Bob enjoyed golf, bowling and crossword puzzles and loved working in his yard.
Members of the family include his wife of 64 years, Margaret “Peg” White, four sons and their wives, Craig (Joy), Robert (Julie), Daniel and James (Sylvie), four grandchildren, Kathryn, Emma, Aidan (Jacqueline) and Caitlin White, one great grandchild, Margot White, and his brother, John White.
After cremation, a memorial visitation will be held Monday July 6, 2026, from 6 to 8 pm at the Peabody Funeral Home and Crematorium 15 Birch Street in Derry. A Mass will be held Tuesday July 7, 2026, at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Aquinas church, 26 Crystal Ave. in Derry and will conclude with burial and Military Honors at Holy Cross Cemetery of Londonderry.
