
Patrick G. Chandler, 75, of Lowell, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Lowell General Hospital after a period of declining health.
He was born on November 10, 1950, in Lowell, the son of the late Albert Chandler and the late Rita (Maguire) Chandler. Patrick was educated in the Lowell public schools and was a proud graduate of Lowell High School.
In his younger days years, he worked for Wang Labs as a material planner. Throughout his life, Patrick built a career as a Karaoke MC, bringing energy, laughter, and his larger-than-life personality to stages and audiences across the area. For Patrick, the microphone was never far from reach, and even into retirement, karaoke remained one of his greatest joys. Those who knew him knew they were in for a good time, and knew too that he was never short on opinions. His great sense of humor and his willingness to say exactly what was on his mind made him unforgettable to everyone he met.
He was the cherished longtime companion of Laurie Ann Silva, with whom he shared his life and love from 1988 until she passed away last year.
He is survived by his children, Shaun Chandler and his wife, Stacey, of Barberton, Ohio, Jennifer Pincence and her husband, William, of Barberton, Ohio, and Corey Travers of Lowell, his stepchildren, David Gonsalves of Florida and Andrew Ypya and his wife, Chelsea, of New Hampshire, his grandchildren, Zachary, Haley, Autumn, Summer, Logan, Mason, and Jazz, and his sister in law, Christina Hannigan and her husband, David, of Methuen.
Patrick is predeceased by his paternal grandmother, the late Catherine Chandler, his parents in law, the late Ann H. Silva and the late Peter M. Silva, and his brother in law, the late Howie Silva.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, July 6, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m. at McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street, Lowell, MA 01852.
