Zalius Louis “Tonton,” age 81, of Boston, Massachusetts, transitioned on June 20, 2026. He was born on January 26, 1945, in Bonneau, Haiti, to his beloved parents, Zaport and Florilia Louis.
Zalius moved to Boston in 1978, where he quickly began working in the hospitality industry. He worked tirelessly, always mindful of the family he had left behind and the responsibilities he carried in his heart.
Educated in Haiti, he built a life rooted in dedication, humility, and perseverance. For the last 20 years of his career before retiring, he served as a steward at the Omni Parker House Hotel.
A man of deep faith, Zalius was a devoted husband to Clomelie Louis. He was the proud father of six children: Gisele, Fequiert, Emmanuela, Flora, Naromie, and Donna.
He shared a special and cherished bond with his eleven grandchildren: Franceline, Samuel, the late Charlene, Janine, Anthony, Christian, Ethan, Darla, Jada, Victoria, and Zachary. Their presence, love, and support were instrumental to his comfort and peace during his final days.
Known for his reserved and quiet nature, Zalius will be remembered most for his kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing hour on Saturday July 11, 2026 from 8:30-9:30 AM followed by a Religious Service from 9:30-11 AM in the New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 871 North Main Street, Randolph, MA. burial will be in Central Cemetery, 327 North Street, Randolph, MA. 02368.
