Angelica (Barros) DaSilva, 97, of Brockton, formerly of Cabo Verde, passed away on June 18, 2026, at Boston Medical Center–South. She was the beloved wife of the late Alberto DaSilva.
Born in São Filipe, Fogo, Cabo Verde, she was the daughter of the late Vasco Osorio Galvão and Euprepria De Barros. Angelica was a devoted mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to her children and family. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, attending church, and caring for those she loved.
Angelica is survived by her eight children, Pepa, Filo, Toty, Zé, Betim, Nene, Nivea, and Laide. She was the loving mother of the late Djunga and Rita, and 49 brothers and sisters. She also leaves 49 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and many other cherished family members and friends.
Viewing will be held in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street, Brockton, on Sunday, June 28th, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Services and Burial will follow in her home country of Cabo Verde.
