Ronald G. Fournier, age 70, passed away on June 21, 2026. He was born on March 20, 1956 in Holyoke, son of the late Gerald R. Fournier and Lorraine G. (Lepine) Fournier. Ronald served in the US Navy. He was a communicant of St Anne’s Church. He worked as a material handler for McNairn Packaging Company for many years before he retired. Ronald was a devoted member of the Chicopee Senior Center. He enjoyed woodworking and traveling, especially cruises. He is predeceased by his wife Nancy (Graves) Fournier who passed away in 2021. He is survived by two daughters, Katie Fournier of Chicopee and Meg Chisholm and her husband Adam of Springfield; one brother, Robert Fournier of Chicopee; four sisters, Linda Funk and her husband Dennis of Northampton, Rose Fournier and her husband James of Franklin, VA, Nancy Seymour and her husband Dale of Chicopee and Annmarie Hurley and her husband Paul of Russell. He also leaves one beloved grandchild, Finnegan Chisholm and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. Funeral will take place on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 from 8:30 – 9:30 AM at the Grise Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Anne’s Church at 10:00 AM with burial to follow in St Rose de Lima Cemetery.
