Cameron Harcourt Bowen, born on October 23, 1951, passed away surrounded by the love and memories of those whose lives he touched. He was a devoted father, grandfather, partner, brother, and friend whose kindness and generosity will never be forgotten.
Cameron was the beloved father of Daniel Nathan Bowen and the cherished grandfather of Goku Aiden Bowen. He was also a loving family member to Christopher Cornelius Lynch and Audrey Lucene Lynch, who reside in Massachusetts.
He was the eldest of four brothers—Anderson, Jefferson, Rodney, and Roger (deceased)—and two sisters, Cheryl and Patrica (Trish). Cameron shared over 20 years of love and companionship with his lifelong partner, Janice Elaine Stout.
Known for his gentle spirit, Cameron was a content, peaceful, and happy man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He would gladly give his last dime or the shirt off his back to someone in need. His generosity and caring nature left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Many affectionately called him "Short Man," while those closest to him remembered him as "Tamarind." Cameron loved football, but his greatest passion was singing. Gifted with a remarkable voice, he won numerous prizes and recognition for his talent. His songs brought joy to family, friends, and audiences alike, and his voice remains a treasured memory.
One of the family's most cherished memories comes from his final days. When Cameron asked, "Where am I?" and was told, "Massachusetts," he began to sing, bringing comfort and warmth to those around him. His music and spirit remained with him until the very end.
Cameron will be remembered for his loving heart, his generosity, his laughter, and the songs he shared with the world. Though he is gone from our sight, he will forever remain in our hearts.
