William Ralph Catanzarita, Jr., 51, of Tifton passed away Monday, June 22, 2026, at Tift Regional Medical Center. His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 26, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service with the Rev. Kenneth Kicklighter officiating. William will be laid to rest at a later date.
Born January 21, 1975, in Jacksonville, Florida, William was the son of William Ralph Catanzarita, Sr. and Holly Windham Catanzarita of Enigma. He was the ground supervisor for Sodexo at ABAC, and he was of the Catholic faith.
William had many things that he loved in life, the most being his family. He also loved his job and loved to watch it rain. Music was another love of his and it proved to be very motivational for him. Other enjoyments of his were fishing and watching UFC.
In addition to his parents, William is survived by his wife, Wanda Lee Scully of Tifton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jonah Michael and Shelby Rose Catanzarita and Evan James and Tiara Catanzarita, all of Tifton; one brother and sister-in-law, Thomas Joseph and Jennifer Catanzarita of Tifton; one sister, Sandra Marie Martin of Tifton; six grandchildren, Chandler Eric Catanzarita, Bella Elena Catanzarita, Joseph Allen Justiss, Grayson Michael Catanzarita, Brett William Catanzarita and Carina Elowen Catanzarita; three nephews, Caden Nicholas Catanzarita, Blake Anthony Scully and Devin Thomas Scully; and five nieces, Shelby Marie Catanzarita, Christina Leigh Catanzarita, Jessica Lynn Catanzarita, Veronica Rose Martin and Sophia Rose Scully.
