Anderson Teixeira Goncalves, 20, of Brockton, formerly of Cabo Verde, died tragically on June 11, 2026.
He was the beloved son of Alberto C. Goncalves and Estefania Antonia Cardoso Teixeira Cardoso. Anderson was employed by Price Rite and was preparing to begin boot camp at the end of June to fulfill his dream of serving in the United States Marine Corps.
In addition to his loving parents, Anderson is survived by his two brothers, Carlson Goncalves and Jailson Teixeira; his three sisters, Rihana Goncalves, Stephany Cardoso, and Eliany Cardoso; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends who will cherish his memory.
Visiting Hours in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street, Brockton, on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Edith Stein Church, 71 East Main Street, Brockton. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 North Pearl Street, Brockton.
Anderson’s kindness, dedication, and aspirations to serve his country will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
