Valdimir Vieira Lopes, 31, of Brockton, passed away unexpectedly on June 16, 2026, in Brockton.
He was the beloved husband of Claudine Barbosa Vicente Lopes of Brockton.
Born in Cabo Verde, he was the son of Antonio Paulo Lopes and Virginia Veiga Lopes. Valdimir worked as a machine operator and was known for his love of music and the joy he found in spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered for his warm spirit, kindness, and devotion to those he loved.
In addition to his loving wife and parents, he is survived by his three sons, Valdinilson Barbosa Lopes, Moises Barbosa Lopes, and Vayzimir Barbosa Lopes; his three daughters, Zainy Barbosa Lopes, Valentina Barbosa Lopes, and Zenilda Barbosa; his eight brothers, Antonio Lopes, Lenine Lopes, Jair Lopes, Joi Lopes, Flavio Lopes, Edmar Lopes, Kevin Lopes, and Pedro Lopes; his two sisters, Taizy Lopes and Luisa Lopes; and many other relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.
Viewing in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street, Brockton, on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 North Pearl Street, Brockton.
Valdimir’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
