Shirley "Tammy" Lee, age 68, of Glen Campbell, PA went home to be with her Lord and Savior June 17, 2026 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital surrounded by loved ones.
Tammy attended Purchase Line High School and worked her adult life as health care aid at Rebecka Manor in Northern Cambria.
Tammy was an avid gardener and loved attending to her flowers and plants. She enjoyed spending time with her Cat "Ollie" as well as cooking, baking and listening to her favorite music.
Her infectious laugh, kind and generous soul, along with her strength and determination, will be missed by her family and friends the most.
Tammy is preceded in death by her parents James Leroy Lee and Shirley Mae Lee. Her brother Thomas Lee and Sister Laura Lynn Lee.
She is survived by a very loving family.
Surviving are her siblings: Terry Leroy Lee of Glen Campbell PA, James Charles Lee of Emlenton PA, Karen Ann Lee Glen Campbell PA and Richard Lee (Beth Lieb) of Cherry Tree, PA.
Tammy was loved and cherished by her nieces and nephews: Kristie Sinclair and Fiancée Joe Shugrue of Pittsburgh, PA; Brennen Lee and significant other Emily McGarvey of Northern Cambria, PA; Reuben Lee of Altoona, PA; James Lee Jr of Emlenton and Alison Burk and Husband Colt of Emlenton, PA and her chosen niece Caitlyn Byers and Joe DiNardo of Pittsburgh, PA.
She is also survived by many loving cousins, friends and chosen family.
Tammy spent the last year after her diagnosis of a glioblastoma fighting a very strong battle. Her courageous and fierce fight was an inspiration to everyone she came into contact with. Her care was led by an excellent neuro-oncology team at UPMC Shadyside, as well as the UPMC Family Hospice, which allowed Tammy to lead a fulfilling year since her diagnosis and stand alongside her family in the final days.
Family and friends will be received from 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. on Saturday June 20, 2026 at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd. in Hillsdale, PA followed by a 1:30 p.m. funeral service at the funeral home on Sunday June 21, 2026 with Pastor Robert Bartlebaugh officiating. Committal service at Rowley Cemetery, Hillsdale, PA.
Tammy’s family invites all to join the family for 3:30 p.m. dinner Sunday at the Glen
