Michael Dean Hall, 69, of Ocilla passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Lawrence Yankee officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 21, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of the service. Michael will be laid to rest at a later date.
Born July 19, 1956, in Ben Hill County, Michael was the son of the late Harold Dean Hall and Virginia Sue Harness Hall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Amelia Kay Durden. Before retiring, he was the Maintenance Manager at Weyerhauser in Montezuma. He was a former member of the Lion’s Club and the Citizens Police Auxiliary. He was also a veteran of the United States Army.
Michael is survived by his fiancé, Cathy Tripp of Ocilla; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin Michael and Kim Hall of Brunswick and Keith Michael and Kristen Hall of Rentz; two stepsisters, Janette Sai and her husband, Jake, of Americus and Janice Young of Fitzgerald; and five grandchildren, Haley Hall, Bryson Hall, Brylan Hall, Paris Hall and Nathan Hall.
