
WEBSTER – Lucille (Stefanik) Lemanski, 96, died Tuesday, June 16, 2026 in Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge after an illness. Her husband of 26 years, Edmond J. Lemanski died in 1993.
She leaves a step-son, Edward Lemanski and his wife Tamara of White Lake, MI; two step-granddaughters, Amanda Lemanski and Stephanie Peyton; her caretaker, David Stefanik and his wife Sharlene of Dudley; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lillian Carlsen, and by three brothers, Robert, Paul and Raymond Stefanik.
She was born on October 11, 1929 in Webster, a daughter of Joseph and Irene (Hade) Stefanik and graduated from Bartlett High School in 1947.
Mrs. Lemanski was a typist clerk at Pratt Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford for nine years, retiring in 1976. She enjoyed writing.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation, 260 Cochituate Road #200, Framingham, MA 01701. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street.
