LACONIA --- Micheal James Racki, of Laconia, NH, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the Concord Hospital – Laconia.
Michael was born on July 2, 1966, in Boston, MA, the son of the late Anthony “Tony” Racki and Jane (Heinis) Ordway.
Michael was known for a strong work ethic, a generous heart, and an unwavering love for family and friends. He found joy in life's simple pleasures and was happiest when working with his hands or spending time in nature. A talented woodworker, Michael could transform a simple piece of lumber into something beautiful and lasting. His workshop was a place of creativity, patience, and craftsmanship, where countless projects were built and shared with those he loved.
When he wasn't woodworking, Michael could often be found casting a line into a favorite fishing spot, enjoying the peace and excitement that came with every trip. He also had a passion for motorcycles and cherished the freedom of the open road, creating memories that lasted a lifetime with fellow riders and friends. Camping was another of his great loves. Whether gathered around a campfire under the stars or exploring new places, he treasured the opportunity to connect with nature and spend quality time with family and friends.
Above all, Michael will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, willingness to lend a helping hand, and the love he shared with those around him. His presence brought comfort and joy to many, and his memory will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Patricia Laderbush; a daughter; a grandson; a brother; a son; many nieces and nephews; and a small circle of friends that have become family.
There will be no calling hours.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
