Stanley W. Bator, age 77, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on June 13, 2026. He was born on November 27, 1948 in Ludlow, MA, son of the late Stanley A. Bator and Mary (Wiernasz) Bator. Stanley was a graduate of Chicopee High School, Class of 1966. He Served in the Air Force Reserves and later worked for the Chicopee Fire Department for many years until he retired. After retirement he kept busy by becoming a groundskeeper for Bay Path College. He is survived by his wife Marianne (Elsden) Bator of Chicopee; one son, Michael Bator and his partner Ashlee Tessier of Chicopee and two grandchildren, Lilliana and Diana. He is predeceased by his brother Walter Bator. A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, June 19th, 2026 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee followed by an in-house Prayer Service at 11:00 AM.
