
Elizabeth Ann Rivard, known to many as Betty Ann or Liz, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester, Massachusetts, at the age of 84.
Born on June 5, 1942, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Melbourne Atwood Robinson and Catherine Rita (Tatten) Robinson. As the daughter of a career Navy officer, Elizabeth moved frequently throughout her childhood before her family settled in Medway, Massachusetts, where she met the love of her life, Paul A. Rivard.
Elizabeth and Paul shared 63 years of marriage, building a life centered on love, devotion, and family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Paul A. Rivard; her son-in-law, Thomas E. Davey; and her parents.
Above all, Elizabeth was devoted to her family. She is survived by her brother, James Paul Robinson, and his wife, Phyllis; her daughter, Ann M. Davey of Uxbridge, Massachusetts; her son, John P. Rivard and his wife, Mary Kelly Rivard, of Medway, Massachusetts; and her daughters, Mary E. Rivard of New Hampshire and Catherine R. Rivard of Uxbridge, Massachusetts.
She also leaves six grandchildren: Connor and Andrew Davey; Patrick and Katrina Rivard; and Chad and Abigail Lamont.
Her family and friends will fondly remember Elizabeth's love, devotion, and spirit. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home,(ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway, Massachusetts.
Visitation will be on Thursday June 18 from 9:00-10:00.a.m. in the funeral home.
