Janet Leigh Yarbrough Whaley, 63, of Ty TY, Georgia, died Thursday, June 11, 2026, at her residence.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date by the family.
Ms. Whaley was born February 28, 1963, in Alex City, Alabama, to the late Charles Yarbrough & Fran Taylor. Ms. Whaley was a homemaker, where she enjoyed cooking for her relatives and her children for special occasions. She was a caretaker for her mother in her later years. Ms. Whaley was always making people laugh.
She is survived by her children and their spouses: Nick Whaley (Tashena) of Wartburg, Tennessee and Allyson Carelock (Josh) of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Dalton Lane, Aubree Carelock and Julianna Carelock; siblings: Dorothy Hill and Randy Yarbrough. She was preceded in death by her parents.
