Mary Ann Recorvitz, RN, 68, of Rustic Acres Drive, Chepachet, died Saturday, June 6, 2026. She was the wife of Michael Recorvitz, they had been married for 32 years.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons: Jared Recorvitz of Chepachet and Justin Recorvitz of Woodstock, CT.
Born in Uxbridge, MA, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Jane (Kupiec) Tabor.
She had worked as a Registered Nurse dedicating her career to helping people in the mental health and addiction field.
Mary Ann was well known for her love of animals. She had a puggle named Lola she adored, grew up riding horses, and most recently spent her free time volunteering at a cat shelter.
Mary Ann was a healing presence, on top of her occupation as a nurse, she picked up sound healing. This practice blended sound and meditation to give people a relaxed state of mind.
She also had an adventurous side; often kayaking and camping with Mike. She water skied, snow skied, and passed on her love of cars to her sons Justin and Jared as she had a Corvette and MGB in her youth.
Mary Ann held a deep belief in God that guided her life and comforted her throughout her journey.
Her memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held June 20 at 10 AM in the Way Ministries, 1 Oakleigh Ave, North Providence, RI 02911. Visitation and burial are omitted.
