Grace E. (Roberts) Stevens, 83, of Westport, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at St. Anne's Hospital. She was the wife of James K. Stevens, they shared 57 years of marriage.
Mrs. Stevens was born in Miami, FL daughter of the late Forrest P. and Josephine (Jones) Roberts and had resided in Belchertown, MA before relocating to Westport in 2007. Prior to retirement, she worked as an elementary school teacher for the State of MA. She was a member of Pacific Union Congregational Church, Westport. She enjoyed horseback riding, sailing, music and water color painting. Her greatest joy was spending time with family.
Survivors along with her husband include her son: Forrest K. Stevens of Westport; her daughter: Deborah L. Erickson and her husband Russell Burleigh of GA; a brother: Paul Roberts of TN; sister: Mary Card of FL; 2 grandchildren: Sutton Erickson and Mason Erickson; along with many nieces and nephews.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Pacific Union Congregational Church, Westport at 3:30 P.M.
Interment will be private.
