Steven ”Spud” Patrick Wardwell, 59, of Milford, formerly of Medway died June 4 at Milford Regional Medical Center after a long battle with cancer.
Born in Natick, November 29,1966, the son of Sarah M. (Loftus) Wardwell of Hopkinton and late Albert J. Wardwell, Spud was raised and had lived in Medway for many years.
Spud had worked for many local construction companies and local dairy farms over the years.
He had worked for Paul Wilson’s /Red Gate Farm and Michael Lobisser/ Rocky Hill Farm.
He finished his career working with Matt Fasolino at Medway Mulch and Loam.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son Steven Wardwell of Arizona and his longtime companion Roberta Bryant and her son Robert of Milford.
He is also survived by his brothers, Albert Wardwell of Medway and Donald Wardwell and his partner Sharon Bertone of Bellingham.
Spud is also survived by his nieces and nephew, Joseph Wardwell, Christina Leavenworth and Jennifer Truit, and his beloved sister-in-law Debra Wardwell and many cousins.
His services will be private.
