Bernstein, George L. of Winthrop and Lynnfield passed away on June 4. Beloved husband of the late Elaine (Davis) of 46 years. Loving son of the late Anne and the late Morris Bernstein. Dear brother of the late Sheldon Bernstein and the late Theodore Bernstein. Devoted uncle of Karen M. Bernstein, Terri Goodman and her husband Mark, Lisa Lifer and her husband Craig, Gary Bernstein and his wife Claire, Joel Bernstein and his partner Rhonda Lewis, Linda Bernstein, Michael Bernstein and his wife Christine, Sam Gollis and his wife Claire, Hillary Gollis, Harry Davis, and the late William Davis. Also survived by many grand nieces, grand nephews, great grand nieces, and great grand nephews as well as cousin Toby Diamond. Services at the Torf Funeral Chapel, 151 Washington Ave., Chelsea on Sunday, June 14 at 10 AM. Interment in Sharon Memorial Park.
