The angels in heaven welcomed one of their own. Donna S. Mosco, 81 of Derry, NH passed away in her home with her soulmate and husband, Thomas. Donna was born to Harold and Doris (Bertowice) Sweeney in Brockton, MA on January 13th, 1945.
Donna conveyed her kindness through a host of charity organizations and charitable acts over the course of her life. She volunteered her time as a swimming instructor to disabled children, she hosted birthday parties with her knitting group for children in the welfare system, she knitted shawls for cancer patients, and more than 600 hats which she handed out to the homeless and in the winter months. Donna homed rescued Newfoundland dogs, opened her arms to her neighbors and their children, and was always there to lend a helping hand in her community and beyond.
She is survived by one son, Thomas Mosco of Concord, CA, one daughter, Aimee Coakley and son-in-law John of Bermuda Dunes, CA, one grandson, Marco Capobianco of Phoenix, AZ, and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Kay Mosco of Salem.
Following cremation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 11:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry.
