
WEBSTER – Brian S. “The Governor” Singelais, Sr., 55, died Tuesday, June 2, 2026 in the presence of his family.
He leaves his wife of 3 years, Sarah V. (Trice) Singelais; a son, Brian S. Singelais, Jr. and his wife Stefania of Putnam, CT; a daughter, Brittany R. Singelais of Webster and her boyfriend Joshua Snowden of Salem; a stepson, Liam P. Toothaker of Webster; a stepdaughter, Makala L. Trice of Bellingham; a sister, Dawn Guardado and her husband Mike of California; a sister-in-law, Donna Singelais of Salem; his father and mother-in-law, Richard and Linda Trice of Bellingham; a brother-in-law, Richard Trice and his wife Julie of Bolton; a sister-in-law, Andrea Rees and her husbnad Mike of Pinegree Grove, IL; and many friends. He was awaiting the birth of his first grandchild this November. He was preceded in death by his brother Edward Singelais, Jr.
He was born on June 5, 1970 in Everett and raised there, the son of Edward Singelais, Sr. and Virginia M. (Dean) Singelais, later Tortorici, and graduated from Lynn Technical High School in 1989.
Mr. Singelais was a truck driver for 30 years, working for several companies including A. Duie Pyle. More recently, he was an HVAC technician for Sun Belt Rentals in Westborough.
He was a member of Act II Ministries in Thompson, CT. Since 2005, he entered and won top prizes in truck driving competitions, securing the national championship of the NTDC in 2015 in St. Louis, MO. He was an excellent cook and was known for his wonderful mac and cheese.
A time of visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 10, at Act II Ministries, 1366 Riverside Drive, Thompson, Ct.
