HARDY, Charles E. of Dedham, MA, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Mary F. Hardy. Loving father of Suzanne Hardy of Weymouth, MA, and Charles F. Hardy of San Francisco, CA. Brother of Robert Hardy and his wife, Celine Hardy, of Sandwich, MA, and the late Margaret A. Hardy and Francis Hardy. He is also survived by Pamela Hardy of Montpelier, VA; nephews Robert Hardy, Jr., Thomas Hardy and Christopher Hardy; and niece Meghan Hardy.
Born in Boston, MA, Charlie graduated from Dedham High School in 1956 and attended Boston University. He served six years in the U.S. Army Reserves and spent the majority of his career as a Systems Engineer with Honeywell Information Systems.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St, Dedham followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment private.
