Sandra Ann Siela, 83, passed away on May 8, 2026, at her home in Ventura, California, surrounded by her family. She was born Sandra Ann DeLellis on June 9, 1942, in Los Angeles. Sandra was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who lived fully and shared her joy with everyone she met.
Sandra worked in real estate for many years before earning her teaching degree. She started in special education and soon discovered her passion for teaching 5th grade in the Ventura Unified School District. Sandra loved both learning and teaching, and she cared deeply for her students.
She loved to travel and was an adventurer at heart, who planned extensive trips with her husband, family, and friends to destinations near and far. She was a very loving, positive, and vibrant person, with a musical spirit. She also enjoyed watching Dodger games with her family and was a lifelong fan.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Richard Siela; her children, Wayne Powers, Sara Karluk, Noel Coupart, and Charles Powers; nine grandchildren: Phillip, Robin, Roman, Jack, Olivia, Brianna, Adam, Mason, and Juliette; and two great-granddaughters, Jules and Francesca. She is also survived by her sister, Lisa, many nieces and nephews, and countless friends. Sandra’s beautiful spirit will continue to live on within all of those who adored her, and she will be deeply missed by many. Thank you, Sandra.
