It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Sandra (Sandy) Drouin age 80 of Ashland, MA on Sunday, May 31, 2026.
She was born June 5, 1945 in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Lillian Sidelinger. She was a 1963 graduate of Hudson High School and served in the United States Army before becoming disabled. Before her retirement, she was a documentation Specialist for Digital for 20 years.
Sandy enjoyed playing cards, cribbage, crocheting, reading and spending many beautiful days in Rockport. Her home away from home!
She was a very kind soul. Always there to assist anyone who needed help. She had a great sense of humor, quite the firecracker and we will all miss to hear what our nickname will be for that day.
She is predeceased by her granddaughter Kailiann Drouin. She is survived by her daughters; Tammy Belhumeur and her husband Eugene of Millville, Rebecca Drouin of Millville, Elizabeth Bedard of Ashland and son Kenneth Drouin Jr. and his wife Kriziann of Hudson, 7 grandchildren; Shawn, Jessica, Nicole, Alyssa, Makenna, Kyra and Kendra and 4 great-grandchildren; Jacob, Aubry, George Jr., Hailey and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the wonderful care given by the nurses of MetroWest HomeCare and Hospice.
In accordance with Sandy’s wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be conducted.
